Green Infrastructure: Landscape Planning and Management with Ecosystem Services
In recent years, the familiar natural environment that we once took for granted has been rapidly disappearing. However, after experiencing the large-scale disasters that occur every year, many people have begun to realize that natural areas used to function as buffer zones. Now that we live in a society with a declining population, we believe that the most rational form of national land is to use these ecosystem services as infrastructure.
However, in order to use nature in the way people desire, proper management is necessary. We are conducting research on landscape planning and maintenance methods that utilize ecosystem services.
